Idyllwild, California is situated at 5,000-6,000 feet in the San Jacinto Mountains above Palm Springs. Warm and mild in the summer and a snowy wonderland in the winter, Idyllwild is one of the premiere get-away destinations in Southern California.

Home to avid hikers, rock climbers and mountain bikers, Idyllwild abounds with outdoor enthusiasts, including Dr. Jeff Salz - who completed a solo climb of Mount Fitzroy in the winter of 2003 and Ernie Ale of Uprising Outdoor Adventure Center - who Cafe Aroma is also lucky to have as one of our featured musicians.

Join us at Cafe Aroma every Wednesday morning at 8:30 for the Tara Dutton Hiking Club and take in the beautiful sights and fresh air of the Tahquitz Wilderness while enjoying moderate 4-7 mile hikes with altitude gains of 2,000-4,000 feet. The Tara Dutton Hiking Club is open to everybody, so put on those boots, fuel up on Aroma's finest coffee and have an awesome morning on the trails of Idyllwild.
